🌕 Full Moon Yoga Evenings in Market Harborough

There’s something about the full moon that gently calls you inward

Not in a loud or overwhelming way

But in a quiet, steady pull

Like the tide shifting beneath the surface

Over the past few months, I’ve been hosting full moon yoga evenings at Yomi Studios just outside of Market Harborough

And each one has felt like its own small, sacred pause

A space held by nature

Yomi Studio is one of those places you feel calm as soon as you arrive

Tucked just outside Market Harborough, surrounded by a small lake and soft stillness

It feels a little like stepping out of your day and into something slower

The light moves differently there

The air feels clearer

And everything seems to invite you to soften, just a little

As the evening settles and the moon begins to rise, the space becomes even quieter

More reflective

Like nature itself is holding the room with us

A small, growing community

Each month, a few more people find their way here

Some come alone

Some return again

Some arrive not quite knowing what they need, just that they need something

And slowly, without forcing it, a community is forming

Not in a loud or busy way

But in shared glances, soft conversations, and the feeling of being in a room where you don’t have to explain yourself

There’s something powerful about sitting beside others who are also choosing to pause

To feel

To come back to themselves

The evening itself

The practice is always gentle

We move slowly

We breathe

We create space for whatever is there

Nothing needs to be pushed away

Nothing needs to be fixed

As the class comes to a close, the room feels different

Quieter

Softer

More connected

You can feel it in the way people move

In the way they speak, or don’t speak at all

Like something has settled

The ritual of releasing

The full moon has long been a time of release

A moment to notice what you’ve been holding onto

What feels heavy

What you’re ready to let go of

During each evening, we take time to reflect

To write down what we’re carrying

Thoughts, patterns, emotions, anything that feels ready to be set down

And then, one by one, we offer those pieces to the fire

Watching the paper burn is always a quiet moment

There’s no need for big gestures

Just a simple acknowledgement

This doesn’t need to come with me into the next season

Like leaves falling at the end of autumn

Making space for something new, even if you don’t yet know what that is

Leaving a little lighter

Afterwards, people often leave slowly

Lingering for a moment

Wrapping themselves back up before stepping out into the night

There’s a calm that stays with you

Not a dramatic shift

Just a gentle lightness

A feeling of being more connected to yourself

More present

More here

A quiet invitation

If you’ve been feeling full

Or stretched

Or like you haven’t had a moment to check in with yourself

Maybe this is your reminder

There is space for you to pause

To breathe under the moon

To let something go

To come back to yourself, in your own time

And you would be so welcome here 🌕
